Accelerate business growth by enhancing management strategies
We dotD, Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan, CEO Hisashi Onoda), an IT business creation firm, announces that Koji Furusawa, who has extensive experience as a consultant at IBM Japan, Ltd., has been appointed COO of dotD to accelerate business growth, and Shigeru Nosaka, former vice chairman of Oracle Corporation Japan and current external auditor of Subaru Corporation – Japanese major automotive company, has been appointed Senior advisor to the company.
- Purpose of new management team
Since the full-scale launch of our business in January 2020, we have expanded our owned business – dog walking app and entering the digital key service as an alliance business. Under the new management team, we will aim to make faster management decisions in today’s fast-changing business situation due to the impact of COVID-19 and other factors.
- Koji Furusawa Profile Overview
Koji Furusawa joined IBM Business Consulting Service (currently, IBM Japan, Ltd.) in 2003, experiencing a variety of consulting projects over 10 years including IT strategy planning, project planning, project management starting from ERP integration. In 2016 joined ApstoWeb, Ltd. to create new value for manufacturing SMBs using IT. He joined dotD in 2020 and manages the alliance business.
- Shigeru Nosaka Provile Overview
Shigeru Nosaka was born in Izu-Kannami-cho, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.
After working at a major trading company, Marubeni and Apple Japan, he joined Japan Communications a startup of MVNO service in 1996 to executes fundraising for growth funds as CFO. Since 2002, he has been the CFO for 14 years at Oracle Japan, which is listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange and has been leading IR in the capital market. Retired as Vice Chairman in 2019. 2015-2019 Outside Director of Yamaha Corporation,
2019-Currently an outside corporate auditor of SUBARU CORPORATION. Joined dotD in March 2020 as a Senior advisor. He joined dotD to advise the CEO, COO, and other management teams on overall management.
